Life has been pretty hectic trying to plan for my wedding reception and get my name and the rest of my wallet changed over to my new last name that I haven’t had much extra time to blog. I don’t have a new picture to add because I haven’t had much change. When I went to Vegas for vacation, I came back with an extra 5lbs of baggage (attached to my gut)... and it took me 2 weeks, but I did manage to take it back off! I have been holding strong though... I teeter totter throughout the week, but for the past 2 weeks I managed to weigh in at 231 lbs... holding strong to 25 lbs lost. That doesn’t say much for me because I was doing so well before vacation... I can do better then this... I was in such a great mind frame before I went on vacation and now for some reason I can’t seem to jump back on the band wagon again! Its like I let myself remember how yummy junk food is and now I can’t get my head back in the game of not eating it. I have gone to the gym one day a week for the past several weeks. Last week, the one day I went to the gym I was sore for 3 days after so that turned me off. I just have to remember that I have been out of my routine for a month now and my body needs to adjust to the gym again. I did pack my gym bag to go to the gym tonight. I need to remember that I need to put me first sometimes too. I don’t want to throw away all that hard work I put in to losing the first 25 lbs... I still have so far to go to lose focus now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have my cousin’s wedding coming up in June and my wedding reception coming up in July and I would like to lose at least another 10 lbs before them both. We left last Friday morning and came home this past Saturday. We went to Las Vegas for our very first family vacation and to get married!!! Vegas was a blast... however, not very weight watcher friendly. I guess I could have tried to prepare better, but I didn't. I ate like crap all week and late at night nonetheless... and I gained back 5 lbs!!! Ewwww!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I guess that just goes to show you how easy it is to become a fat person again! And I know it only took me one week to put back on the 5 lbs but it will probably take me much longer to lose it again. But I am not going to let that get me down. I am home now and I am refocused and now that I have my gym back and I am back on track with my eating, the weight will start to come back off.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have an appointment tonight with the nurse at my gym to see how I am doing and what all my percentages are and what not... and I am sure that will just throw a little more fuel on my fire because I am sure I will not be happy with my totals. So lets see what this week has for me. I just started back on the weight watchers today (Monday) and I weigh in on Friday, so its already a short week, so lets see how much I can lose by Friday!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thats it for now... I went to the gym 6 days and I was angry when I had to do laundry and I couldn't go to the gym on the one day I stayed home!  The gym has become my addiction.  But I guess its better then being addicted to drugs or alcohol right! I am learning that all it takes alot of hard work and motivation and losing weight is possible!!! I have been working my ass off and I really am seeing such great results. If you would have told me 9 weeks ago that I would be where I am right now, I would have never believed you... but I am actually doing it. I am reaching my goal little by little... and pretty soon, the picture next to my blog is going to be SKINNY!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been noticing some draw backs to losing weight, not that they are going to slow me down or get me discouraged... but they are there and I will have to work harder to make them go away. I have been noticing that as the weight comes off, I have this patch of saggy skin on the back of my leg where the elasticity is not what it should be, I guess... so its just hanging... well I was showing my boyfriend and he told me to start doing squats. I am not very happy about that... but I will just have to work extra hard next week to make it happen!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This week I worked out 4 days this week and I even tried some new things in the gym. I finally got back on the eliptical (which I haven't done in the longest time and the last time I could only do it for 10 minutes)... well I managed to do it for 30 minutes 2 of the 4 days I went to the gym this week. Plus did my workout afterwards. Thats awesome! I tried doing chin ups for the first time ever (with the weight assistance of course)... and I took a Zumba class... which was sooo much fun, but really hard! Then Saturday night me and my boyfriend went on a date to Atlantic City and we ended up eating at PF Changs for dinner at like 10:00 at night and I ate a whole platter by myself of mongolian beef... BAD BAD BAD!!!! I thought I would be able to work it off... but I guess not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am very disappointed in myself this week, but I will try my hardest to work it off this week!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thats it for now. I am actually starting to love it in the gym! Before this week, working out was like a chore... I hated going... but this week, it started to become like an addiction. Its like I NEEDED to get into the gym because it made me feel good. It gives me a rush that nothing else can give me. I even have made friends with 2 women in the gym. We take alot of the same classes and seem to always meet in the sauna every day and can bullshit for a little while after our workouts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am so proud of my loss this week. The results I am seeing every week is just more motivation for me to keep pushing through and keep following the plan day after day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So far I have lost a total of 19 lbs and 20 1/2 inches. That is an incredible weight loss for me considering that I have tried every diet and I never can seem to stick with it. But Weight Watchers just seems to be so easy to follow. Turns out she had a mild pneumonia. She was out of school all week, and to the doctor several times for check ups. My attention was directed more on her this week then on losing weight. So needless to say, I was not working out all week like I could have been. But I did make it to the gym one day when my boyfriend was home with the kids. Thankfully, she is feeling better, so this next week I am going to have to step it up in the gym!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On another note, my confidence level is boosting more and more every day! I have people that I haven't seen in weeks telling me how great I look. They notice a difference in me. I can see a difference in the way my clothes fit. Its a great feeling!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So that's it for this week! Well since I gained back 1 lb. last week, I tried to lose 7 lbs. this week. 1 lb. to make up for the one I gained, 3 lbs. to make up for what I did not lose last week, and then 3 lbs. for this week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well I started out great, the 1st 3 days I worked out every day, and lost a pound a day for the 1st 3 days of the week. Then my daughter got sick on Friday and I was more concerned about trying to get her better then going to the gym.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, regardless of her being sick and me not getting back to the gym for the last 4 days of the week, I still lost weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have just been feeling really incredible. My energy level is increasing, my self confidence is increasing. All around, I just feel great!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This week I reached my first goal! Well, not entirely. My week started out great! I took a yoga class which was very relaxing. I even exercised in my living room while watching the Biggest Loser on TV. My 9 year old was pretending she was my trainer... it was so cute!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Friday we left for the Poconos for the weekend and I went prepared with my weight watcher meals and my 100 Calorie snacks on hand. I was determined to stick to my plan and not eat any of the yummy food they were planning on bringing. Well, I was good for the most part. I did eat my meals for lunch and dinner. However, I did “taste” a few of the snacks like the spinach dip and taco dip (which are like my all time favorite ever and very hard to resist!) and the buffalo chicken dip. I was proud of myself because I didn’t even go over my points all weekend, even with snacking on the totally delicious, yet not so good for me, snacks! Then after a long drive home and a starving family, we decided to order pizza and wings for dinner on Sunday night instead of cooking. Unfortunately for me, I had no more weight watcher meals in the house. So I ate a slice of pizza and 3 wings with like 10 french fries. Well maybe that wasn’t the best idea on my part because all of my "cheating" threw me off this week. I guess my body doesn't want me to eat all those really yummy snacks. I should have had a little more self control, but I'm not too disappointed in my results. For me, this makes it so much easier because I love to snack and I love snack food! Well thank God for 100 calorie packs and the various weight watchers desserts (Brownie a la mode is my all time favorite now!). This way I can have a little taste and not feel deprived of the foods I love to eat, which will help me stick to my point system longer! The diets I have been on in the past I felt so deprived of snacks and I caved so quickly. I am such an emotional eater and because I was so upset that I was hungry and I couldn't eat whatever I wanted, it made me want to eat even more!
